According to an article released today by PCWorld, Android device activations are nothing to scoff at. Take a look at these numbers, as reported by Ian Paul:
“Every day more than 700,000 people sign up for a new Android device, Google’s Android chief, Andy Rubin, said late Tuesday via Twitter and Google+. That works out to nearly 5 million new Android users every week…”
And, in case you were wondering, this does not include any resold or refurbished devices—only new devices.
While we don’t know how many of these are new users, what we can assume is that at least some of these people are upgrading—therefore they now have an old device that needs a new home. Since Android powers both smartphones and tablets, there’s an array of devices that may now be sitting idle.
If you’re one of these new Android adopters, your unused device can be used for more than a paper weight or dust collector. Actually, it’s probably worth a decent bit of cash! Visit our simple calculator to find out how much your device is worth—then print the prepaid shipping label and you’re well on your way to some easy cash.
Do you use an Android-powered device? Was it your first device, or did you upgrade from something else?
